How does Creative COW compare to its competitors?
Longtime Creative COW advertisers like Panasonic, Blackmagic Design, AJA, Matrox and many others have been with us for years, straight -- month-after-month, year-after-year, non-stop. Why? Creative COW has the largest gathering of media professionals on the planet, bar none.
In fact, for the better part of the last decade, major traffic monitoring services like Google Analytics, Alexa.com, Quantcast and others, unanimously report that Creative COW has more traffic than all of its competitors combined. Yes, combined.
|In the graph seen below, compiled using statistics available at Compete.com, we see Creative COW compared to four competing magazines and their official web portals -- magazines like Videography, DV, Digital Content Producer (Millimeter), and Studio Daily (Studio Monthly). |
These Compete.com statistics shown are current through September 30, 2009.
Let's start with Compete.com and then move on to Google Analytics,
Alexa.com and other popular traffic statistics compiling services.
Below, the 30 day traffic of September 22, 2009 to October 22, 2009,
shown using Google Analytics (one of the most highly respected traffic statistics compiling technologies avaliable),
outlines that the Creative COW website gets enormous traffic -- nearly 2 MILLION
totally unique visitors generating almost 3 MILLION visits, and over 8 MILLION pageviews.
Let's look at just 30 days of our enormous traffic, as tracked by Google...
Google Analytics traffic statistics for the last year shows remarkable growth,
DOUBLING in traffic again for the third straight year in a row.

Examining these major traffic monitoring sites, creativecow.net
is the clear leader in all four traffic monitoring services.
Let's dig into the numbers and their meaning...
Using Alexa.com, creativecow.net is OVER THREE TIMES higher than it's nearest competitor — and is OVER TEN TIMES HIGHER than Penton's Millimeter/DigitalContentProducer.com site, and FIFTEEN TIMES HIGHER than sites like Studio Monthly's site at studiodaily.com. The traffic disparity is even greater when comparing the other magazines shown.
Using Compete.com, creativecow.net is DOUBLE the number of sampled members of compete.com in the past month, with over NINE TIMES the number of compete.com sampled members than that of StudioDaily.com. We have nearly SIX TIMES the number that Penton's Millimeter/DigitalContentProducer.com site attracts.
| |Using TrafficEstimate.com, Creativecow.net shows 1,129,200 MONTHLY visits, whereas the second place competitor has less than half the visits and the third place site has EIGHT TIMES less visits. Sites like Post Magazine, a direct competitor of Creative COW Magazine, shows Creative COW to be NEARLY 32 TIMES GREATER in traffic.
Using Statbrain.com, the traffic of creativecow.net is 97,285 DAILY visits -- actually Google and Quantcast show it is nearly 20% higher than StatBrain is capable of tracking (and we believe our traffic and everyone else's is 20% higher than StatBrain reports) -- whereas EVERY OTHER PUBLICATION COMBINED totals 61,741, which Creative COW has 1.5 TIMES that amount of traffic, according to statbrain.com.
