Scott
Jenkins has been creating art on the computer since 1987. In 1995, he
was a demo artist for Discreet and eye-on products, showing them at
companies and conventions around the world. Especially interested in
pushing the art of computers, he continued his career teaching and
lecturing at schools, conventions and companies, on animation and
compositing. Some of his clients include Dreamworks, Sega, Film Roman
and Centropolis Special Effects. He also served as the Technical
Director for "The First Easter" an animated television special, the
Virtual Set Engineer for VH-1's My Generation game show, and a
compositor for commercials with clients such as Charmin and Microsoft.
Scott is currently teaching at dhima in Santa Monica, CA and finishing his book [digital] Compositing for New Riders, due out this summer.
