| | | | Apple Final Cut Pro Get Your FCP Timelines in Motion with Final Cut Studio
Having both FCP and Motion in Final Cut Studio means more options for effects creation with your video projects -- and FCS integration makes it easy to work with them together. | | | | Apple Final Cut Pro Keyframing Color Correction
In this episode of Final Cut Help, Richard Harrington takes a look at keyframing the three way color corrector in FCP. As details change in a movie clip you can have the filter adjust its values over time. This example uses a video of a bird starting in a bright sky and ending in water which is darker, the contrast transition is controlled by keyframing the saturation and color correction.

| | | | | Re: Postcard look in Apple Color by Jack Jones in the Apple Color Forum It's a case of playing around with the footage. Set your black levels (probably not too dark in this case). Remove a lot of saturation and add a yellow/orange tinge to the highlights and shadows. Neutralise the midtones. Then I'd probably go for blowing out the whites. That's just a... 7 hours ago read more |

| | | | | Re: Motions library in AE by zak peric in the Apple Motion Forum no you can not. But you can always use rendered movies of particle systems inside After Effects. You can also navigate to motion library and use shapes for particle systems in AE. AE have good tools you only need images to make particle systems. I also suggest you get Trapcode... 7 hours ago read more |

| | | | | Re: Smoke coming to Mac by nick hasson in the Apple Color Forum It's hard to figure out where Smoke sits in a FCP based facility. One good workflow with FCP and smoke would be promo work. You can offline in FCP. Then xml it to smoke. At that point, you could re capture and start comping/tracking/keying and such. In a client based... 15 hours ago read more |
