Latest software release supports import of XMP from Adobe Prelude and Adobe Premiere Pro software, plus XML module for interfacing legacy systems - NAB booth SL14316
axle Video, the company pioneering radically simple media management software, today announced the latest revision to its axle 2012 software and axle Gear software/hardware appliance. The new software, 2012 Revision 8, offers several key workflow enhancements over preceding versions. The company is exhibiting at the NAB Show in Las Vegas, and is demoing its software at its booth, SL14316, as well as those of a dozen partner companies in the South Lower hall.

Diaquest Products, a software development firm with a focus on the video and film industries, announced today that WTHR, the NBC affiliate serving Indianapolis (DMA #27), has integrated its QueManager Web-based graphics order management system (OMS) with an ENPS newsroom computer system. The station, which is owned by Dispatch Broadcast Group in Columbus, Ohio, went online with QueManager in February.

Generally the rule of the Worker is that it cannot look up from a table as in, look at this value and then pull the next in the sequence. You can have it increment file names I believe but I think that's only for creating duplicates and you can't control...
